Working alongside the owners to deliver their vision, the long awaited destination brings the beauty and flavour of the Amalfi Coast to the heart of Cheshire. A well known and listed building, the entire venue has been stripped back to it’s bare bones by the Style Contracts team, reconfigured, rewired and re-plumbed. A new kitchen, along with a structureless skylight and full width bi-fold doors which lead out onto a beautiful Italian garden have also been installed, perfect for all occasions.
The restaurant design now blends rustic charm with contemporary details. Weathered scaffolding boards, complicated weaved rope features and a central mirrored wall are offset by beautiful marble bar tops throughout.
The concept brings a city centre restaurant experience to the urban town – not only answering the needs of the local residents but along with it, bringing a new visitor demographic to Prestbury, plus the additional benefits to other local businesses of increased footfall and a secondary spend; something which has already been seen in Tarporley, the location of the first Coast restaurant.
Blair Glen, owner of The Coast, said, ‘After the successful launch of The Coast in Tarporley almost two years ago, when Style Contracts not only delivered a complete turn key design and fit out solution, they also created The Coast’s logo and brand identity; there was no question with their involvement in my latest venture. A special mention must go to site manager Jimmy, he has worked relentlessly to deliver the project on time and his work ethic, passion and ability are first class.
